I started this closet because I hate seeing a genuinely good piece get passed over — a coat with years of wear left in it, a dress that just needs the right person to find it. I check every single item myself, price it fairly, and only list what I'd genuinely want to find in someone else's closet.
That's more or less the whole philosophy here. No chasing trends, no filler, no shortcuts — just pieces worth keeping, packed with care and shipped quickly once they find their next home.
You may have noticed a Bible verse included in your package. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I want to glorify Him in everything I do — including this little shop.
Here's the thought behind it: no matter how prestigious the brand, clothes wear and tear. Every piece in this closet will end up in a dustbin someday. Jesus addresses this directly, telling His disciples:
"And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things."
Matthew 6:28–32
That thought is followed by His positive command:
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
Matthew 6:33–34
Christ's kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. This world — and everything in it, clothes included — Christ will fold up like a garment, just as it is told in the 102nd Psalm:
Of old thou hast established
Scottish Metrical Psalter, Psalm 102:25–26
The earth's foundation firm and fast:
Thy mighty hands the heav'ns have made.
They perish shall, as garments do,
But thou shalt evermore endure;
As vestures, thou shalt change them so;
And they shall all be changed sure:
If any of this resonates — or if you're simply looking for something specific — I'd love to hear from you.
